Seattle day one
My first stop was at my parents' office so that I could pick up a copy of my birth certificate. I was a bit nervous that I'd need a passport to enter the US, and my passport is in Kelowna along with my copy of my birth certificate.
Following that I stopped by the offices of Urban Vancouver [uv] to sell my Vancouver Canucks versus Toronto Maple Leafs ticket to Richard Eriksson [uv] so that it wouldn't go to waste while I was in Seattle.
I stopped at Jack in the Box outside of Bellingham, and ate a very large burger and a very large Coke. If I lived in the US I think I'd be dead by now, as the portions are so fucking large it's stupid. I then headed down to Seattle [mbs] just in time to hit the traffic.
After a bit of directions from Google Maps and Jeff on the phone, I ended up picking up the young lad and we headed to University Villiage shopping centre where we stopped at the Apple Store and then ate sushi. We then swung by his apartment so I could store my Powerbook and change of clothes at his aparment and then we walked to the Garage a bowling alley / pool hall [scs] owned in part by Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready. We had a few drinks and I lost a few games of pool.
Tomorrow we're going to the science fiction museum before I drive back for the next great Trivial Pursuit 90s' Edition match. This will be the first time anyone aside from my brother and his girlfriend meet Lydia.
